Azita Ghanizada

Azita was born in Kabul in Afghanistan. Azita is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. Her family was from Northern Virginia. She is the middle child of twin sisters. Her family was brought up within Northern Virginia and is the third child from two siblings. Ghanizada launched her television career through appearances on National Commercials. Ghanizada won the award for the best actress at the festival film in 2004's Laura Neri movie A Kiss on the Nose. The actress was the character Chiara. Television guest-starring roles are How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NuMB3RS bones Psych as well as Castle. Recent roles include the role of a supporting character in Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science-fiction movie Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada has been cast in the General Hospital spinoff General Hospital which was telecast on primetime television. Season 2 of Night Shift featured Ghanizada portray Doctor.
